Only one ZanuPF Councillor for Mabvuku Tafara Scott Sakupwanya took oath of office yesterday amidst a forrest of 23 Jubilant Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) Councillors in the Newest Council for the City of Harare.

The by-elections were necessitated by the recalling of councillors by the then Douglas Mwonzora led Movement for Democratic Change Tsvangirai (MDC-T).

The Citizens Coalition for Change led by Nelson Chamisa had the highest number of those sworn in testimony to their pedigree, tested and tried leadership of their President Advocate Nelson Chamisa.

the capital City of Harare have been sworn in following the just ended 26 March by-elections.

Harare had 24 vacancies in its 46-member chamber.

Critics believe Zanu Pf’s performance was below par and rather pathetic compared to a new born. 62 day old CCC party which came out triumphant.
