Better we bury the correct head is the unanimous message from the family than a head we suspect to be or not to be
They refused to bury a head they are unsure about for fear of avenging spirits

Family of the murdered Mrehwa boy, Tapiwa Makore said they could not bury their son with the head claimed to be his as they are afraid of avenging spirits if the head is not the exact one of their boy.

The biological father for the murdered boy, Munyaradzi Makore, told TechMag Tv that the two DNA results and what was on the ground were clashing and confusing.

“We couldn’t bury the head claimed to be for my son because we might cause avenging spirits (ngozi) since it is not clear if the head belongs to Tapiwa,” said Makore.

He further said even though they have buried their son headless they will still want to conduct a private DNA for clarity.

The family however appealed to well wishers and the general public for financial support for the DNA which is costing about $US 4 200.

“…so we are appealing to well wishers and the general public listening to help us financially so that we do our private and independent DNA test so that we see whether the head belongs to our son.

“The DNA is costing about $US 4 200 and its too much for us” he said.
The late Tapiwa Makore was finally buried Saturday March 27 after seven controversial months of trying to figure out if the head which was missing matches with other body parts.
