ZERA launches e-Vehicle

Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) yesterday launched an electric vehicle aiming at promoting uptake & deployment of safe, sustainable & efficient energy technologies
Posting on its twitter handle ZERA said the e-vehicle technology has less maintenance costs.
The car does not produce smoke and has regenerative brakes and high efficiency which is equal to about 2 litres/100km
“E-vehicle technology has less maintenance costs, no CO2 emissions, regenerative braking, high efficiency.”
ZERA has added that the vehicle can travel up to 450km if fully charged.
“…if fully charged, the battery can go up to 450km.”
