Zanu Pf Spokesperson Christopher Mutsvangwa has accused Saviour Kasukuwere and Tendai Biti of Secretly pushing the US to Renew sanctions on Zimbabwe.

This allegations comes amid ongoing tensions withinthe ruling part and it’s relations with the U.S.

Mutsvangwa, known for his forthright speaking style, addressed journalists at a press conference at ZANU-PF headquarters, expressing concern that the US may renew executive sanctions against Zimbabwe.

He claimed that Tendai Biti, a prominent opposition figure, is trying to stir up emotions about land ownership and title deeds in Zimbabwe, allegedly in collusion with the US Embassy in South Africa.

Mutsvangwa lambasted Biti and Kasukuwere, labeling them childish.

“Mr. Biti should stop trying to be peevish,” he said.

“This is like a child who always tries to cry.”

He further described Kasukuwere’s actions as nonsensical.

Meanwhile, Mutsvangwa expressed hope that the sanctions will not be renewed and will be totally removed.

“Our sincere hope is that President Trump may actually be made to forget to renew them when the day comes,” he said.

In March, the US Department of State is expected to put forward executive orders either to renew or terminate sanctions on Zimbabwe, with several institutions rallying behind calls for them to be removed.
