Special Needs Pass Rate lncreases by 7.91% in November 2024 Examinations

Zimbabwe School Examinations Council announced the increase of the special needs candidates performance in the November 2024 examinations.

In 2023 a total of 253 candidates sat for the examinations whilst last year 323 candidates were recorded this year.

On their social media whatsapp channel ZIMSEC said”A total of 323 special needs candidates sat for a range of subjects from 1 to 12. Of these 198 wrote 5 or more subjects and 72 passed 5 or more subjects yielding an overall percentage pass rate of 36.36. In comparison, a total of 253 special needs candidates sat for examinations in November 2023. Of these 159 wrote 5 or more subjects and 41 passed 5 or more subjects yielding an overall percentage pass rate of 25.79.”
