In a bid to clear their names and assist in the investigation, controversial businessmen Mike Chimombe and Moses Mpofu today voluntarily presented themselves to the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) today in connection with alleged looting case.
The duo came forward to assist ZACC in its inquiry into the alleged fraudulent activities and funds looting at the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) and the Presidential Goat Scheme.
Accompanied by their lawyer, Advocate Dvetero, Chimombe and Mpofu visited the ZACC offices, where they were informed that they would receive a call to schedule interviews at a later time.
“We just presented our clients to the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission and they indicated that they are going to call us when they need us and they are willing to assist us in the investigation” said Dzvetero
Through their legal representative, Chimombe and Mpofu undertook to cooperate fully with the investigation and reside in the country for the duration of the probe.
