CCC Will Not Abandon Illegal Recalls Court Case

The Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) will not abandon the illegal recall court cases that are before the courts.

Speaking during a press conference in Harare, the opposition leader Advocate Agency Gumbo said the party will continue to pursue justice.

“The citizen’s national assembly stands in with the congress and has resolved all illegal processes which are underway, we shall continue to go to the courts because we believe in the constitution,” said Gumbo.

Party spokesperson Promise Mkwananzi echoed the same sentiments before advising leadership changes in the party.

“The party has chosen Senator Jameson Timba as the interim leader. Sengezo Tshabangu,  Jacob Mafume and other leaders are not part of the original CCC”.

“The blue movement or the yellow movement is not important, what is important is that this movement is greater and its objective is to pertain and usher in democratic change”, he said.

The CCC did not make any recalls and the members recalled by Tshabangu have not ceased to be members of the part and the recalls are illegal.

The part has come up with a parliamentary and local government agenda that will focus on the economy, food security, education, health, and devolution.
