The ruling party ZANU PF has approved the participation of six candidates in the upcoming Primary Elections set to be held on 23 March 2024.
This announcement was made by the party’s Political Commissar Dr Mike C Bimha, at the Party Head Quarters, Harare.
”Therefore l am pleased to announce that, His Excellency, the President and First Secretary of ZANU PF, Cde Dr E.D Mnangagwa has approved the participation of the following candidates in the ZANU PF Primary Elections to be held next weekend on Saturday 23 March 2024” said Bimha.
He added that Party members who met the criteria in the internal Primary Elections were summoned to submit applications and CVs to Harare Province where the Harare Provincial Elections Directorate (PED) then met on 10 March 2024 to consider CVs for the Primary Elections.
The two Parliamentary seats fell vacant following the resignation of Advocate Fadzayi Mahare (Mt Pleasant) MP and Allam Markham (Harare East).
