The Zimbabwe Republic Police confirmed the arrest of Henry Tiyago (39) in connection with a case of murder that occurred in Kaitano Village, Mukumbura in which Stanely Tiyago (62) died.
Posting on X, the police said, ”ZRP reports that on 11/03/24, Henry Tiyago (39) was arrested in connection with a case of murder which occurred in Kaitano Village, Mukumbura in which his father, Stanely Tiyago (62) died”
The suspect assaulted his victim with a log indiscriminately after he was insulted by the victim. The victim succumbed to the injuries sustained during the assault.
In a similar case, police in Kwekwe are appealing for information that may lead to the arrest of Peter Nhike (24) who is being sought in connection with a case of murder that occurred at Nganunu Shopping Centre in Zhombe in which his brother, Edmore Nhike (27) died.
The suspect allegedly assaulted the victim using a wooden bench and a stone following a heated argument over a football match.
