The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) Chief Elections Officer (CEO) Utoile Silaigwana has said Nomination Court Notice for Kusile Rural District Council Ward 13 and Redcliff Municipality Ward 3 has set in motion elections for the 6th of April 2024.
This follows the deaths of the incumbent Councillors for Kusile RDC Ward 13 and Red cliff Ward 3.
The Nomination Courts for purposes of receiving nominations of candidates for election as councillors for the vacant wards shall sit on Friday 23 February 2024 starting from 10:00 hours to 16:00 hours.
Courts to receive nominations for the vacant Kusile RDC Ward 13 shall sit at the offices of the Chief Executive Officer, Kusile RDC, Lupane whilst for Red cliff at the offices of the Town Clerk, Municipality of Red cliff, Civic Center, Sally Mugabe Way, Red cliff.
