By Lovejoy Chitengu has officially been sworn in as Harare’s New Mayor today.Chitengu who is Ward 36 Councillor was elected by the City of Harare Councillors together with His Deputy Mayor Rosemary Muronda.
The recall of Ward 18 CCC Councillors Ian Makone and Kudzai Kadzombe by Interim Secretary General Sengezo Tshabangu paved the way for the election that ushered in Chitengu
