Dangerous machete-wielding gangs have re-appeared in Mashonaland Central’s Bindura and Mazowe districts.
In a notice from Glendale ZRP station, the community has been warned to be on alert for these goons.
“Currently we are having an increase in machete robberies targeting business persons, farmers and residents.
“May you quickly report cases as soon as possible. Jumbo is almost closed hence these hooligans are targeting neighbouring farmers and business people for survival,” read the notice.
People have been warned against travelling during late hours and keeping large amounts of money within their residences.
“May you avoid travelling during late hours and also avoid attracting criminals by disclosing your plans to everyone,” it further stated.
