ZERA Review Fuel Prices Downwards

Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) has reviewed the pump prices of fuel downwards with effect from 5 November 2023, TechnoMagTv has learnt.

Henceforth, diesel is now selling at US$1.74 per litre down from US$1.79 and petrol is now US$1.56 down from US$ 1.65.

According to the public notice issued by ZERA, the new prices will be effective from November to the 4th of December 2023.

In a statement, ZERA advised the public and operators that the blending ratio has been pegged at E20.

“The public and operators are advised that the blending ratio is at E20. Operators may sell petroleum products below the prescribed prices depending on their trading advantages and should display prices in a prominent place as provided for by the fuel pricing regulations,” read part of the statement.
