An unidentified dead man’s body was found floating in a dam by passersby in Epworth yesterday and the police are looking for his next of kin.
A man believed to be in his early 35 and 40 years of age drowned in the Jacha Dam.
“Police in Harare are appealing for information which may assist in identifying the body of a man aged between 35 to 40 who drowned in Jacha Dam, Epworth on the 25-10-23.”
Posting on their X account (formerly known as Twitter) page, the police said, “The victim was wearing corduroy trousers and a stripped blue golf t-shirt. Anyone with information to report at any nearest Police Station.”
In a separate incident, police in Mt Darwin are also investigating a case of murder in which Admire Kamukirwa 27 was found dead on 09-10-23 behind a garage at Kandeya Township after being attacked by unknown suspects. Anyone with information to contact any nearest police station”
