Zimbabwe members of parliament under the ICT portfolio committee will tomorrow converge in Kariba to engage Potraz on tariffs and best way to manage affordability and sustainability for consumers.
The stakeholder engagement will be running under the theme, “Telecommunications sector viability – Ensuring Operator viability and Service affordability a balancing act and challenges” and the two day forum will start tomorrow and end on 3 March.
Key players in the telecoms matrix like the Ministry of ICT Postal and Courier Services, Ministry of Finance, Media Institute of Southern Africa (MISA),Telecommunications Operators Association of Zimbabwe, electricity supplier ZESA, Telecoms regulator POTRAZ, RBZ and Consumer Protection Commission will also be part of the consultative forum.
