The second annual Kariba Carnival and Business Expo has officially opened today, drawing a huge number of exhibitors and anticipating a successful event for local businesses and the community.
Over 15 companies are currently showcasing their products and services, with more expected to participate.
Notable exhibitors at this year’s expo include Bindura University, Karoi Town Council, Chegutu Town Council, Norton Town Council, Mabirira Resort, and Zimparks.
The event is set to host Minister of State and Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Hon. Marian Chombo tomorrow, who will tour the exhibition stands.
Robert Siamilandu, the coordinator of the Kariba Carnival and Business Expo 2025 expressed enthusiasm about the event.
“We are expecting more exhibitors this year, many companies have already confirmed,” Siamilandu stated.
He outlined the diverse programms planned, which include live music and dance performances, a variety of food and beverage stalls, and extensive business exhibition and networking opportunities.
Siamilandu also added that the expo will feature cultural displays, family-friendly activities, and entertainment.
With over 50 exhibition stands already booked, the event is poised to be a key attraction for those interested in commerce, culture, and entertainment.
“We are thrilled to bring this exciting event to Kariba and showcase the best of our region,” Siamilandu added, extending an invitation to the public to experience the beauty, culture, and entrepreneurial spirit of Zimbabwe.
