The National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe (NPAZ) in Harare North and South provinces received a boost to their operational capacity yesterday with the acquisition of 69 new laptops.
This move comes as the NPAZ commemorates its 10th anniversary of “Combatting Crime and Corruption.”
This development is expected to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of prosecutors in the region.
According to a statement released by the NPAZ, the newly acquired laptops are equipped with an integrated e-library, offering quick and easy access to an extensive range of online databases, case law, statutes, and other crucial legal resources.
This technological upgrade aims to improve prosecutors’ ability to prepare thoroughly and construct well-informed legal arguments.

The NPAZ has emphasized that with the ongoing implementation of the Integrated Electronic Case Management System (IECMS), these laptops will prove invaluable and essential tools in the daily work of prosecutors.
“With the implementation of IECMS, these laptops will be invaluable and essential tools in the daily work of prosecutors.” NPAZ wrote.
The IECMS is intended to streamline case management processes, and these new devices will facilitate its seamless adoption and utilization.
