The Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) is generating significant buzz as it approaches its 65th edition, scheduled from April 21 to 26, 2025. This premier annual trade exhibition event promises to be an exciting platform for economic growth and cooperation, with global interest surging.

Exhibitor registration has seen a notable increase, with 596 direct exhibitors registered as of April 7, surpassing the 428 registrants in 2024. Notably, 98 of these exhibitors are first-time participants, demonstrating growing interest in Zimbabwean business. International participation has also reached new heights, with a record 29 countries represented, including Afghanistan, Angola, Austria, and the United States. This exceeds the 27 participating nations in 2024.

The ZITF will host several key events, showcasing the diversity and depth of the exhibition. The International Business Community platform will provide opportunities for networking and collaboration among industry leaders. The Connect Africa Symposium will foster debate and cooperation on the continent, while the CBZ Original Equipment Manufacturers event will showcase original equipment manufacturers. A new addition to the ZITF is the Rural Industrialisation Indaba, focusing on economic growth and inclusion in rural areas.

With an impressive 95% of exhibition space booked, up from 87% in 2024, the ZITF is poised to be a resounding success, driving industrialization and creating substantive linkages for economic growth. The increased participation and interest in the event demonstrate its significance as a platform for business and investment growth in the region.
