The Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Zimbabwe Tamer Almassri, has strongly condemned the resumption of Israeli military aggression in Gaza, which has resulted in the loss of over 350 Palestinian civilian lives, mostly women and children.
Ambassador Almassri denounced Benjamin Netanyahu’s decision to resume the war as a desperate attempt to maintain power amid internal government crises and corruption cases. He emphasized that the Israeli occupation army’s actions constitute a blatant violation of international humanitarian law, using siege, border closures, and food supply cuts as a weapon of war.
The State of Palestine urges the international community, the United Nations, and human rights organizations to take immediate action to stop the massacres, end aggression against civilians, and hold Israeli occupation leaders accountable for their crimes.
Ambassador Almassri stressed that military pressure and brutal aggression will not break the will of the Palestinian people, who will continue to struggle against the occupation. The international community must intervene to stop this ongoing genocide and hold perpetrators accountable.
