Mnangagwa Launches Presidential Youth Empowerment Fund

President Emmerson Mnangagwa launches the Presidential Youth Empowerment Scheme aimed at empowering Zimbabweans youths to contribute to the country’s economy.

The event, held under the theme “Fuel Youth, Ignite the Future,” drew thousands of youth from across all 10 provinces.

Speaking at the laucnh Mnangagwa said his government will allocate $2 million towards this initiative.

“I am launching a $2 million Presidential Youth Empowerment Revolving Fund to support youth income-generating projects,” he said.

Additionally, Mnangagwa launched a $5 million Presidential Youth Mining Equipment Scheme to benefit young artisanal miners.

This initiative is part of a larger effort, with more programs to follow.

The $2 million youth fund has been divided into $200,000 allocations for each province, which will be distributed to youth in district cell structures across the country.

This initiative is part of a larger effort to promote youth empowerment and national development.
