Results of ward 3 of Norton Town Council trickled indicating Zanu Pf candidate, Tsomondo W Charamba as the newly elected Councilor for Norton Ward 3.
Charamba won by 11 votes edging his nemesis Paradzai P Tanatswa an Independent candidate who garnered 222 votes against his 233 votes.
The percentage poll was 19,174 % with only 3 spoiled.The election took place after notification of a vacancy by reason of the death of Paradzai Pritchard, who was Councilor of Ward 3, Norton Council.An election notice was issued on 6 January 2025 in terms of Section 121A(2) of the Electoral Act chapter [2:13] for the conduct of the by election.
