War Veterans Children Calls Geza To Peaceful Dialogue

Children of Zimbabwe Liberation War Veterans Association (CZLWVA) National Chair Cde Phenias Makombe reaffirmed the organization’s unwavering support for the ZANU PF party’s position and vowed to continue defending it during a press conference held today at the party’s headquarters.

In a call for peaceful resolution, Makombe urged Cde  Blessed  Geza and others in similar situations to engage in constructive dialogue with President Emmerson Mnangagwa, who has consistently demonstrated a willingness to listen and resolve issues amicably.

“We urge Cde Geza and others in the same situation to engage in peaceful dialogue with the President who has always shown a willingness to listen and resolve issues in a constructive manner,” Makombe said.

The CZLWVA’s commitment to supporting the welfare of war veterans and their families was also reiterated. Makombe emphasized that the organization will not allow its parents to be exploited for political gain and will firmly oppose those seeking to disrupt the peace they fought hard to achieve.

“We stand with our fathers and mothers in the War Veterans Association and League, and we remain committed to supporting their welfare. We will not allow our parents to be manipulated for political gain, and we stand firm against those who seek to destroy the peace we have fought for,” Makombe said.

This stance is a testament to the organization’s loyalty to the ruling party and its dedication to preserving the legacy of Zimbabwe’s liberation struggle. As the CZLWVA continues to advocate for the rights and welfare of war veterans and their families, its relationship with ZANU PF remains a crucial aspect of its mission.
