The government has approved the National Early Childhood Development Framework, a comprehensive strategy aimed at providing quality and affordable services to children up to seven years old.
Presented by Vice President Kembo Mohadi this framework seeks to harmonize existing policies, strategies, and initiatives to ensure that all children have access to quality early childhood development programs.
The approval of this framework is a significant milestone, as it aligns with global and regional protocols that emphasize the importance of early childhood development.
Supported by the constitution of Zimbabwe and the Zimbabwe National Development Strategy 1(NDS 1) 2021-205 the framework is designed to address the country’s early childhood development needs and provide a foundation for future growth and development.
