“My Africa Child and Youth Development Organization firmly believes in the power of youth as drivers of positive change. This event will provide a platform for young entrepreneurs to showcase their talents and connect with investors,” said Vimbai Butawu, CEO of MACYDO.

Nicole, MACYDO spokesperson, emphasized that all youth are encouraged to attend. “As long as you purchase a ticket, you will have access to all sessions, and those with VVIP tickets will also enjoy an exclusive dinner,” she said.

MACYDO, the organization behind the event, is committed to entrepreneurship and youth development. Vimbai Butawu further explained that MACYDO also runs a scholarship program that supports both Ordinary Level and Advanced Level students. “We also offer sponsorships to help young people achieve their dreams, ensuring that financial barriers do not limit their potential,” she said.

The Ministry of Youth is partnering with MACYDO for the May trade fair, underscoring the government’s dedication to youth empowerment. The collaboration aims to equip young entrepreneurs by addressing pressing issues such as climate change, drug abuse, and business development.

MACYDO officials have described the event as Zimbabwe’s largest youth conference, aiming to equip young people with the tools and connections needed for success. “We are truly committed to seeing the youth prosper,” Nicole added.

With a powerful lineup of speakers, key partnerships, and a strong focus on entrepreneurship and innovation, the Zimbabwe International Youth Trade Fair and Conference promises to be a game-changer for young people eager to secure their future in business and leadership.
