The bail ruling for Alpha Media Holdings’ HStv journalist Blessed Mhlanga, has been deferred, with the hearing set to be held on Friday, tomorrow at Harare Magistrates Court.
The postponement was announced in Harare Magistrates Court today with stand-in Magistrate Marehwazvo Gofa citing the absence of presiding Magistrate Farai Gwitima, who is attending a funeral.

Mhlanga, detained since Monday, faces charges of inciting public violence from his coverage of press conferences held by war veteran Blessed “Bombshell” Geza, a vocal critic of President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
The conferences were aired on HStv.
The delay in the ruling extends his period of detention.
