The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has confirmed the arrest of Trymore Tore (37) in connection with three brutal murders that occurred at Mubairacheni Village, Hurungwe, on February 16, 2025.
According to the ZRP, Tore was apprehended on February 23rd while hiding in a bush near his homestead in the same village.

“The suspect was arrested on 23 February whilst hiding in a busy near his homestead at Mubairacheni Village.” Reads the statement.
Upon being taken into custody, Tore allegedly pulled an okapi knife from his pocket and proceeded to stab himself multiple times in the chest and neck.
Police officers on the scene quickly intervened, recovering the knife.
Tore was then transported to Karoi District Hospital where he is currently admitted under police guard.
