Tanyaradzwa Kamarizeni, a well-known event planner, spoke out after a video of him struggling to locate a Valentine’s Day gift recipient went viral on social media. The video sparked rumors, with some viewers speculating that Kamarizeni was romantically involved with the woman in question. In a press statement, Kamarizeni, also known as The Events Bae, addressed the situation and cleared up the confusion.

The viral footage captured the moment when Kamarizeni, accompanied by musician Big Star Nash, attempted to hand over a Valentine’s Day gift and money bouquet intended for a client’s wife. However, due to timing constraints and an unexpected mix-up, the recipient could not be found. “I was under immense pressure as the saxophone guy had other bookings to get to,” Kamarizeni explained. The video shows him making several calls, trying to meet up with a woman, later identified as the sister in law of the gift recipient, while rushing to meet her at a nearby mall.

As the video gained traction, viewers began circulating rumors, suggesting that Kamarizeni was more than just the event planner. He was quick to address these claims. “The video clearly shows me making calls and departing to meet the lady with the other gifts,” he clarified, urging the public to focus on the professional nature of the situation.
