The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) has announced widespread power outages in Ruwa due to cable and mainline faults. Affected areas include Windsor Residential, parts of Ruwa Industry, Sunway City, Rockview, Adelaide, and surrounding locations. Additionally, Domboramwari, Magura Shopping Centre, Chiremba Road, Reuben Shopping Centre, Solani, Overspill, Munyuki, Makomo, and nearby areas are experiencing mainline fault.

According to the ZETDC, the outages have been caused by a cable fault affecting some areas and a mainline fault impacting others. The power utility has assured residents that restoration work is in progress, but no estimated time for full service resumption has been provided.

“Our teams are working to ensure full restoration of service in the shortest possible time”.
