Geza Now On Wanted Police List

The Zimbabwe Republic Police have launched a hunt for the controversial war veteran, Blessed ‘Bombshell’ Geza Runesu for Theft, Insulting President, and Incitement of Public Violence.

 

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has issued a press statement appealing for information regarding the whereabouts of Blessed Geza Runesu, also known as “Bombshell,” who is wanted in connection with a series of serious criminal charges.

According to the statement released today, Geza is facing four counts relating to theft, insulting the President, and inciting public violence.

The most serious of the allegations is the charge of contravening Section 33 (2) (a) (ii) of the Criminal Law Codification and Reform Act, Chapter 9: 23, which criminalizes “Undermining the Authority of or Insulting the President.”

 

Geza faces two counts under this section, potentially related to public statements or actions deemed disrespectful to the office.

Additionally, he is accused of theft as defined in Section 113 of the Criminal Law Codification and Reform Act, Chapter 9: 23. The police report alleges that he stole and sold three vehicles belonging to a complainant without their consent.

He is also facing a charge of contravening Section 187 of the same Act, “Incitement to commit public violence,” suggesting involvement in actions that could have potentially destabilized public order.

 

The ZRP is urging anyone with information about Runesu’s location to come forward.
