ZIFA Vice President Loveness Wadzanai Makura says the newly elected executive is working to create a level playing field for the national team, aiming to boost their performance.
As part of this effort, the association is focusing on supporting its women’s team.
Speaking to the media, Makura revealed that ZIFA has begun mobilizing resources to support the Mighty Warriors, who are currently in camp preparing for the CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, which kicks off on February 16.
However, despite these efforts, the national team still faces significant challenges, including the lack of a functioning stadium.
Currently, the stadium remains banned by CAF and FIFA due to non-compliance with their standards
