Palestine Condemns Israel’s Escalating Aggression in West Bank

0

The State of Palestine has strongly condemned Israel’s brutal aggression in the West Bank, which has intensified in recent days. The Israeli military has erected numerous checkpoints, now totaling 898, including 16 newly installed iron gates, severely restricting Palestinian mobility and connections between areas.

This escalation of violence is seen as a deliberate attempt by Israel to distract the international community from its recent crimes in Gaza and to consolidate its illegal occupation of Palestinian territories. The installation of new iron gates across the West Bank constitutes a further act of collective punishment and a blatant attempt to fragment Palestinian society and impose a full system of apartheid.

In a devastating turn of events, Israeli forces launched a deadly war in Jenin and its refugee camps, resulting in the tragic loss of 10 innocent Palestinian lives and injuring 40 others. The destruction of roads surrounding Ibn Sina Hospital has also been reported.

The State of Palestine is calling on the international community to condemn Israel’s aggression unequivocally, hold Israel accountable for its violations of international law and crimes against humanity, and impose immediate and effective sanctions on Israel to deter further aggression.

The Palestinian people remain steadfast in their struggle against the Israeli occupation and will never relinquish their inalienable right to freedom and self-determination, and to an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
