Palestine Will Not Leave Their Holy Land: Ambassador Almassri

The embassy of Palestine in conjunction with the Word of Prayer held World day of prayer for Palestinian people yesterday in Harare and Ambassador Tamer Almassri highlited that Palestine will remain steadfast and will not leave their holy land.

“The Israeli apartheid occupation will push the Palestinian people to remain extra steadfast in the face of their war crimes. Mr Haniyeh’s assassination proves that the Israeli prime minister Netanyahu and his fascist government have no intention of achieving peace, but rather intend to prolong the genocide in Gaza to shield Netanyahu from the domestic criminal cases against him.

“We reiterate that the Palestinian people will use all means guaranteed by the international law to defend themselves against this brutal occupation, assuring that Palestinians will not leave their holy land and will never raise the white flag until we achieve our Palestinian independent state with Jerusalem as its capital,” Dr. Almassri said.

Dr. Tamer Almassri, the Ambassador of Palestine to Zimbabwe, has condemned Israel’s assassination of Palestinian freedom fighter and head of the political bureau of the Hamas movement, Mr. Ismail Haniyeh.
“We consider this assassination a war crime and hold Israel responsible for the consequences, particularly for the imminent escalation into a regional war, threatening world peace and security. This is a cowardly act by Israel, proving, once again, that Israel is defying international law and is acting with impunity. We reiterate that Netanyahu and his accomplices should be brought before the ICJ and ICC for war crimes, including the current genocide in Gaza.
