Neville Mutsvangwa To Extend Jail Time As Judge Steps Down From His Case

Judge Esther Muremba has stepped down from Neville Mutsvangwa’s bail hearing case, citing personal reasons ahead of the case’s determination.

Neville, the son of Zanu Pf spokesperson Ambasador Chris Mutsvangwa and Women’s Affairs minister Monica Mutsvangwa is facing three counts of contravening the Exchange Control Act, Bank Use Promotion and Suppression of Money Laundering and Procceds of Crime Act.

The bail hearing, which was deffered to today, had made the judge step down from the case, citing “personal reasons”
“I will have to refer back the matter to the registry for the allocation of a new Judge. I can not continue with this matter due to personal reasons” said Judge Esther Muremba

Josephine Sande, the lawyer who is representing Neville Mutsvangwa did not say much on the matter, “the matter was referred back to the (JP) Judge President’s office for allocation of another Judge” she said
