Former Norton Legislator Themba Mliswa, and Sabhuku of Shurugwi today at a presser exposed land barons for fraud.

At a presser held today in Harare, Sabhuku Mliswa said that people must stop purchasing stands from either Brobondo Private or Muungwe Investments as the land had been illegally sold to the property developer

“Members of the public are therefore warned and advised to risk their hard-earned money on the current development which is a nullity on account of there being no requisite corporate approvals.

Members of the public must therefore cease purchasing stands from either Brobondo or Muungwe (Pvt) Limited or any of their proxies or under the current development by Brobondo until either the lawsuit l have instituted is concluded or the development and sale of stands are regularized and sanctioned through a proper corporate action.”

Muungwe Investments (Pvt) Limited is a company that owns certain pieces of land namely Muungwe, Lepasi Falls and Utandi held under Deed of Transfer No. 7972/2008, Deed of Grant No. 6600/2008 and Deed of Grant No. 8874/2008.

These three properties are the Company’s sole assets and their disposal or alienation must be approved by the Company’s Board of Directors said Mliswa

He further said that I wished to advise all members of the public that there has neither been a company’s shareholders nor directors’ resolution authorizing the development or sale stands to the public. In the absence of such approval.

He added that his reasonable suspicion and conclusion that the development is fraud and to this end he have instituted legal proceedings under HCHC42/24 against the said Brobondo and all those working in cahoots with it and shall approach law enforcement agents to investigate possible criminal conduct.
