Citizen Coalition for Change (CCC) change champion Job Sikhala will have to wait before knowing the judgement of his case which is at the Harare Magistrates Court.
Sikhala was supposed to be handed his judgement today at 11:15am, however, the case was postponed to the 7th of February 2024.
He is due to appear at the High Court for another hearing at 2:15pm.
Deputy Spokesperson of Citizens Coalition for Change Hon Ostallos Siziba said, “The criminal abuse of the justice delivery system in this country is something to worry about not only to the progressive democracy of the country but to everyone in the country”.
“Job Sikhala deserves bail, to reunite with his family because he has not committed any crime. Many criminals in this country have looted resources in Zimbabwe. The crises in the country are caused by people who loot and sinker the resources, all of them are in and out of the same court and given bail overnight”, he said.
He added, “Zimbabwe became a farm kingdom where there is a law for Zanu PF and a law for the rest of us the ordinary people. The root cause of all this is political stupidity that we need to fix. Zimbabwe is a constitutional democracy”.
