Dynamos legend David George has died. He was 71.
George passed on in Harare today. News of his death started filtering this afternoon and not much has been gathered at this moment.
Popularly known as Broom Boy in football circles, George was part of the trailblazing DeMbare team that had other outstanding players like five-time Soccer Star of the Year, George ShayaDaniel Ncube, Oliver Kateya and many more.
George later joined the coaching bandwagon and served as an assistant to SundayChidzambwa and davidMandigora at DeMbare before working as head coach of the now defunct Motor Action. He then joined the ressurgetbHarare Cit as Technical director.
Burial arrangements will be announced in due course.
