Former MDC-A Chair Senator Morgan Komichi urged the ruling family and opposition family to unite and work in harmony for the benefit of the general populace wallowing in abject poverty.
He was speaking at the press conference conducted by People Unity Party (PUP) leader Hebert Chamuka in Harare today.
Komichi said, “It is my sincere appeal for people to establish an opposition movement which is unified for a better Zimbabwe and l call upon opposition to stop pointing fingers at each other and unite for a common cause.
“We need an opposition that represents issues of the people and a government also wants an organised opposition that will keep them in check,” said Komichi
Chamuka who believes that, ” lgnoring the call for a GNU at this critical juncture would be a disastrous gamble with Zimbabwe’s future is strongly called for unity of political parties for a better Zimbabwe”.
“If there is a time that we need a GNU, is now. These two people are similar in their actions, hence they should come together and for a GNU for the betterment of our lives as Zimbabweans,” he said.
