Veteran journalist Silvester Tapfumaneyi has released his two singles “Dai Ndakaziva” and “Dzaingove hope,” as a revolutionary message to transform people’s hearts
His music genre is a fusion of chimurenga and gospel.
Tapfumaneyi titled his singles collection “Ngariyende Vhangeri,” as a theme for his new releases to remind Christians of the great promises that God has made to us through Christ.
“I aspire to continuously remind Christians of the great promises that God has made to us through Christ. Despite all the challenges and persecution that the body of Christ faces, victory will come if we remain rooted in Christ”.
His song “Dzaingove Hope,” describes the country’s economic meltdown which affects good plans of people to prevail and dreams failing, but also in the song it reminds of God’s promises to come true.
“In the song Dzaingove Hope, we see that the economic meltdown affects all our good plans to prosper and have a good life gained from various business plans, various unemployed graduates roaming our streets at home and abroad every day call for someone to remind God of his promises through prayer of his word and promises embedded in the word of God.”
Dai Ndakaziva song, Tapfumaneyi tries to warn women of being lied to and abused by men who pretend not to be married, the truth only starts coming out when all has already gone wrong.
Also, some women pretend to be holy yet lie of the child’s real father which will only be discovered through DNA tests and leads to divorces.
However, Tapfumaneyi highlighted that “Chimurenga gospel brings a reminder to all victims of such untrustworthy partners that they should continue to wait upon the Lord for a good husband and a good wife as we see that most of these scenarios end up in divorces.
