A war of words has erupted between businessman Tinashe Mutarisi and self-proclaimed preacher Passion Java and the debate has also roped in Mudiwa Mtandwa popularly known as Mudiwa Hood.

The war ensued after Java posted a video on his Facebook account ripping into Mutarisi accusing him of deliberately burning down his NASH Furniture headquarters factory located in Graniteside in Harare to commit insurance fraud. Java also accused Mutarisi of being bent on opposing the current government.

In the same video, Java accused Mutarisi of being bitter about the development hence he resorted to fighting the government.
“Mutarisi is a thief. He wanted to dupe the government money. He faked fire on his factory, but insurance companies are clever, you cannot steal from them. That’s why he is bitter,” he said.

However, Mutarisi did not take the allegations lightly and he was quick to respond.

“l want to warn you Java, wakutambira kunonyudza inini ndine pfungwa dzakasiyana nedzako, brain wise. I am twenty thousand wiser than you. Ndine mari yakawanda kupfuura yako, ndine ma connections mu Zimbabwe macho kupfuura ako. Usataure zvinhu zvausinganzwisisi, izvi zvasiyana nema drama epa social media.”

Mutarisi also said Java was ill-speaking of an organization that employs thousands of people and contributes to the country’s GDP.”
“How can he ill-speaking of an organization that employs thousands of people and contributes to the country’s GDP,” queried Mutarisi.

Mutarisi accused Java and Mudiwa Hood of being jealous and lying that they were following orders.

“Their actions stem from jealousy as they are unable to attain the love and respect of the people of Zimbabwe that l effortlessly receive. I am grateful to the people of Zimbabwe for their unwavering support which has become a powerful shield against these haters,” he said.

Mudiwa Hood also responded to Mutarisi’s comment section and defended himself pointing out that he had only joined the debate to facilitate a call between the two and asked; “When is it connecting people ever becoming a crime?”

“Mukoma l am disappointed, tell me one day l ever disrespected you or worked against you? Mandirwadzisa, why are you dragging me along, l repeatedly said you inspire me from the conversation, getting you guys to talk and solve issues and you are lying to people and God knows mukoma”.
