Deputy Minister Paradza also denied any knowledge of any foreign journalists denied accreditation saying his Ministry does not accredit but only facilitates the accreditation of journalists.

Quizzed by this reporter Paradza nevertheless caved in admitting “only one or two journalists have been denied entry specifically one from voice of America only as a technicality,” adding that it “however does not make a difference because Voice of America has stringers all over the country who will still cover their news.
