Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) has hiked the price of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) from US$1.77 ($1 499.85) to US$2.06 (1 862.35) with immediate effect.
Zera last reviewed LP gas prices on 8 February this year.
According to a circular released by ZERA, “Operators are advised to display the prices at their retail outlets in a prominent place in clearly legible letters. Please note that it is permissible to sell LPG at prices below the prescribed prices depending on one’s trading advantages,” the statement read.
