Three Zesa Employees Nabbed For Fuel Theft

Three Zesa employees have been arrested at the Plumtree depot on allegations of theft of company fuel. According to the power utility the depot team included the foreman, lead artisan and depot clerk.

Further investigations are still being done to ascertain how much fuel the trio stole from the company.

The power utility released a statement on the arrest of the employees.

“ZESA Loss Control embarked on a nationwide campaign to discourage any corrupt and theft activities,

“During the blitz, the team arrested Plumtree Depot team which included the Foreman, Lead Artisan and Depot Clerk on allegations of theft of company fuel,

“We encourage members of the public to report any corrupt activities to our tip- off anonymous numbers,” ZESA said.
