NetOne Capacitates Youths Entrepreneurship Through Mo Gigs Grand Prize

Zimbabwe’s largest State run Telcos NetOne has gone a step further into capacitating youth entrepreneurship through the prizes they are handing over in their Mo Gigs Grand promotion.

On Friday, two lucky winners walked away with a generator each in the company’s Mo Gigs Grand Prize held at the Netone Cleveland offices.

Blessed Mutambaneshiri the first winner to be handed over his 5 KVA Nexus generator opened up how this great gift will go a long way in empowering his entrepreneurship skills and work as a carpenter at the Glenview 8 Industrial Complex.

Blessed thanked NetOne for coming up with the prize of a generator adding that it was the most relevant gift to his carpentry fulltime job in light of the intermittent unreliable power cuts the country is currently facing.

“The Lord inspired NetOne to come up with the prize of a generator. The power situation in the country is so bad that just before Christmas, we would spend more than 18 hours without power,” said Blessed who lamented how power cuts were affecting his job even during the festive season.

Blessed, the first winner of the Mo Gigs Promotion added, “That meant no work for us as carpenters. With this generator, I promise to work for more hours to cover up for the lost time during the power cuts.”
