South African music sensation Makhadzi is set to bring the house down when she stages her maiden show at the Kings and Queens Festival in Bulawayo this weekend.
The festival which is slated foir the ZITF hall 4 will also coincide with the official launch of Bulwawayo based KeyonaTv which starts broadcasting on Saturday.
The festival is being backed by Universal Music group in partnership with KeyonaTV and other Zimbabwean Partners and KeYona TV CEO Dr Qhubani Moyo promised fireworks at the festival which will see a star studden line up entertaining the crowd.
“The launch will be public where we’ll celebrate as a collective and be serenaded by music from our local acts who’ll be backed by the daughter of Africa, Makhadzi ” he said
Makhadzi will be supported by rap sensations Asaph,Msizkay and other local acts with tickets now on sale.
KeYona TV which will be accessed using the Azam TV digital satellite service provider becomes the the third Zimbabwean commercial tv station to go live on a Digital Terrestrial Transmission (DDT) platform after 3KTV and ZTN Prime which are available on the DSTV platform.

The Bulawayo based commercial tv station was awarded a broadcasting license by the Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe (BAZ) in November 2020 but the channel missed the originally planned launch in January 2021.
The launch was delayed to 25 May 2021, and again to August 2022 but the launch failed to take off due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the technical problems from engineers.
The station is owned by the radio broadcasting company Fairtalk Communications (Private) Limited which is the parent company of Skyz Metro FM and Breeze FM. Fairtalk is partly owned by the Zimbabwe National Army.
