The mobile internet and data traffic in Zimbabwe has gone up according to sector report released by the Postal Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe, (POTRAZ)
Figures from regulator, Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (Potraz) show that mobile internet and data grew by 6,717.2 terabytes to 32,4731 terabytes compared to 25,755.9 terabytes recorded in the second quarter of 2022.
The surge in the mobile and data traffic represents a 26.1% growth u and this is attributed to a digitalized economy.
The sector report also showed that used international incoming bandwidth capacity increased by 4.3% to record 260.677Mbps from 221.181Mbps recorded in the second quarter of 2022.
