The Municipality of Chitungwiza has extended its discounts Rates promotion to the 31st of December 2022.
In a statement, the Authorities highlighted that for every payment done during the stated period ratepayers are going to get a 30% discount.
“Good news to our ratepayers. We are pleased to inform you that we have extended the 30% promotion discount which started in November to the 31st of December 2022. For every amount you paying during the period you are awarded 30%.
They went on to say, “We would like to remind residents who constructed residential and commercial properties without Council approval to note that we have extended the 50% discount to the 31st of December 2022.
Ratepayers are advised to use the following online platforms, whatspp chatbot +263 777 860 926 and https:\pay4it.promun.co.zw/chitwn/.

The Municipality of Chitungwiza also reminded ratepayers using the Ecocash Biller code to enter their account number as they appear on the statement to minimise errors.
“We are also encouraging ratepayers who are using Ecocash Biller code 44997 to make sure they insert their Account Number as it appears on the statement when making payments. This will assist us in allocating all payments to the relevant accounts.
“We had several payments made, but not accounted for due to the missing account details, those who made payments through Ecocash but have their accounts not updated, should visit our Head Office Revenue Section with the corrected account number.”
