The Grade 7 results portal has gone live with parents, guardians and learners starting accessing Grade 7 results from the Zimbabwe Schools Examination Council (Zimsec) portal last evening.
Zimsec board chairperson Professor Eddie Mwenje on Wednesday said this year’s pass rate is at 40,1 percent and represented a marginal decline from 41,13 percent last year.
The Zimsec board Chair also added that the results were released early this time around as yesteryear’s challenges were mitigated.
Results were released late due to COVID-19 and strikes by markers who were demanding their allowances since 2020.
What it means for the lay person with the portal live, Results for Grade 7 pupils who sat for the Zimbabwe Schools Exams Council (ZIMSEC) November examinations are out.
Pass rate is 40.09 per cent, a decline from 2021’s pass rate which was 41.13 per cent.
