Multi- Award winning Zimbabwean , Cape Town, South Africa based, musician Gemma Griffiths has announced she will be touring the country soon.
Dubbed “ A girl from Harare” Gemma announced the tour on her Instagram page earlier today.
Gemma who is primed for an exclusive with TechMagTV this coming Monday said she will reveal some of the artists that are going to be joining the Tour.
“I am super excited because yesterday I announced that ‘A girl from Harare’, the Tour is loading, we are going to be driving across Zimbabwe with my band and some artist friends and the line up is coming soon and we going to announce who is going to be joining the tour across the country Vic Falls, Bulawayo, Gweru, Kwekwe, Harare, Mutare.
“We are going to bring you amazing music in May and June, if your city was mentioned I am going to post where and when make sure to save the dates and get tickets “ A girl from Harare Gemma on Tour, I am coming to a city near you and i am sending you big love, Zimbabwe i am so excited,” said Gemma.
Vic Falls tour will be on the 29th of April to May 1, Bulawayo tour will held on the 7th of May, Kwekwe 14th of May, Mutare tour will be on the 27th of May, Harare will be on the 28th of May and Gweru’s tour will be on the 4th of June.
Gemma came to be known in Zimbabwean mainstream after she did a soulful, Shona and English interpretation of Winky D’s hit song “Musarova Bigman”, “Mudhara Vachauya” by Jah Prayzah and “Neria” by the late Dr Oliver Mtukudzi.
In 2019, Griffiths featured on highly successful Winky D’s song MuGarden a highly successful song whose video became YouTube’s number 1 trending video in Zimbabwe hours after release.
