War Veterans Vow To Continue With demonstrations

The War Veterans’ Welfare Pressure Group (WVWPG) has said that it is not backing down from it’s push for better pension payouts.

Earlier the anti police dispersed ex combatants who had gathered at the Rotten Row Magistrate courts to show solidarity with their colleagues colleagues

Speaking to Techmagtv,a wat veteran who spoke to this publication on condition of anonymity,said that the incarceration of their members would not deter them from their stance.

“The incarceration of our members will not deter us from demanding better pensions.

Let it be known what we will not rest until our grievances are addressed.

The war veterans are demanding an upward review of the paltry $16 000 that they are currently getting.

At least 40 ex-combatants who are part of the WVWPG were arrested and charged with inciting violence after staging a demonstration in protest over low pension payments
