The Warriors have been handed a fair draw for the 2021 African Cup Of Nations in Cameroon.
The Zimbabwe Warriors have been drawn in Group B where they will face Senegal,Guinea and Malawi.
The Warriors and Senegal are familiar foes having met twice in the 2006 and 2017 AFCON tournaments with the latter winning both encounters.
Zimbabwe will be hoping to go beyond group stages for the first time. However critics argue that the Warriors will not succeed in their mission underZdravko Logarusic who has presided over 15 matches and won 1.
However the coach is confident of progressing to the next round of the competition.
“I really do not care. I don’t care who is our group, is it from Port 1, 2 and 4. We know what we have to do, we know our mission. For starters, lets pass the group stage and see how it goes,”Logarusic said
The Croat will be given an opportunity to fine tune the squad when Zimbabwe plays in the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers against South Africa and Ethiopia in September
